POSITION OPENINGFood Services DirectorPosition SummaryHemlock Public School District is seeking a qualified and experienced Food Services Director to lead and manage all aspects of the district's food service program. This position ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including those established by the USDA and the Michigan Department of Education.The Director will oversee a comprehensive nutrition program serving students from Preschool through 12th grade, ensuring high-quality, nutritious, and appealing meals that support student health and learning, while also providing high-quality catering services for district events.A Note on Process and Transparency: The district is currently issuing a Request for Proposal for food service management, as required by state and federal guidelines. At the same time, we are posting this position to thoughtfully explore all options for our program's future.
