{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"bbfcb4832af0af9ae4419704","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/bbfcb4832af0af9ae4419704","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/bbfcb4832af0af9ae4419704","title":"Dairy Processing Operator","description":"Description\nLactalis is the world leader in dairy, dedicated to producing award‑winning products and fostering a culture of ambition, engagement, and simplicity.\n\nWe are currently hiring a Dairy (Yogurt) Processor in Brattleboro, a full‑time position with a 12‑hour shift (6 am‑6 pm) and a rotating schedule: Week One – 3 days on/4 days off; Week Two – 4 days on/3 days off.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOperate processing equipment, adhering to all quality assurance, productivity, OSHA, and safety standards.\n\nAssemble and disassemble equipment for cleaning, sanitizing, and proper operation per manufacturer instructions.\n\nMonitor and control all temperatures, pressures, and flow of product throughout the processing cycle in accordance with established quality assurance standards.\n\nAdhere to established testing procedures and provide required samples to the laboratory for appraisal prior to all finished products being packaged.\n\nMonitor and control the flow of product from processing to packaging.\n\nPerform CIPs and periodic equipment cleaning to ensure the highest quality standards.\n\nReceive, test, and separate raw milk, then enter test results and milk load data into SAP.\n\nPerform pasteurizer operator functions and other duties as required.\n\nQualifications\n\nDemonstrated commitment to a safe working environment.\n\nOperate lab equipment in support of milk testing.\n\nUpdate milk compositions.\n\nOperate equipment using Human Interface System (HMI).\n\nInput batch results and inventory control using SAP.\n\nComplete chart verification to state standards.\n\nPerform cleaning (MSS) and periodic maintenance as scheduled.\n\nFollow all standard operating procedures (SOP) and good manufacturing practices (GMP).\n\nFollow all lock out/tag‑out procedures.\n\nPractice good housekeeping.\n\nPlan and schedule batches with limited supervision.\n\nFull understanding of clean‑in‑place system and process.\n\nPhysical ability to perform equipment maintenance as required.\n\nSkills / Abilities / Specialized Knowledge\n\nHTST trained or willing to attend training.\n\nUnderstanding of food safety and HACCP.\n\nFlexible mindset.\n\nAbility to work independently and make decisions.\n\nBenefits\nLactalis offers a comprehensive Total Rewards Program, including affordable benefits, significant insurance cost support, generous retirement plan contributions, paid time off from day one, and opportunities for professional growth such as education reimbursement.\n\nLactalis is an equal employment opportunity employer.
