Policy Program Support (Intelligence Community) with Security Clearance
Policy Program Support (U) Experience: Individual must possess a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a USIC, and a minimum of two (2) years writing policies, guidance, and standard operating procedures for a government organization. Must possess exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information and data into clear, concise, and accessible policy documents for a variety of audiences. This includes outstanding editing and proofreading abilities with meticulous attention to detail. Required skills include a capacity to work independently, managing a demanding workload and multiple projects with minimal supervision. Additionally, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently is essential to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and on schedule. Candidates must have the ability to operate effectively either independently or in a team, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to permit successful interface with colleagues. (U) Education: Position requires the individual to have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to communications, public policy, English, or a related discipline. A master’s degree is preferred but not required. (U) Duties: Serve as Policy Program Support; specific duties include, but are not limited to:Provide support for developing, formatting, editing, reviewing, and coordinating organizational policies and procedures within the guidelines established by Executive, Legislative, Departmental, and Intelligence Community higher echelons.Ensuring that all internal and external materials and communique are error-free, high quality, and consistent with Department and Intelligence Community standards.Communicating policy changes to the organization.Updating and maintaining the policy and procedures repository.Validating and documenting processes, guidelines, exceptions, authority levels and workflowsCollecting information necessary to respond to inquiries related to policy and procedures.Formulating and exchanging communications that fully address all expressed issues, alternatives, and desired outcomes regarding policy and procedure matters.Coordinating, processing, and tracking policy and procedure reviews and approvals.Creating templates and guidance for policies and procedures.
