Program includes development and support for existing mission systems in parallel with effort to develop and deliver modernized cloud native, microservice-based products. Team applies Agile methodology, DevOps principles and behavior and test-driven development practices.\n\nThe target start date for this position is Summer 2027, after successfully obtaining the necessary security clearance, as dictated by the government program.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nDevelopment of CI/CD Build and Deployment Pipelines\nWrite/modify Jenkins-based groovy scripts\nTroubleshoot pipeline issues across Jenkins and AWS Environments (Linux EC2, RDS, CloudFormation, ElasticSearch, etc…)\nDocument key features for developer use\nHelp write and maintain scripts for process improvements (ex: stage/unstage builds, branch tag automation, automating variance corrections across networks)\nWork through steps to automate installations of COTS products into the architecture\nDebugging integration issues\nHelp identify issues in the deployment (i.e. potentially intermittent connectivity issues from an API Server to the Database)\nHelp integrate with various tools for the DevOps process (SonarQube, Fortify, Jenkins, Robot Framework/Selenium, Artifactory, etc…)\n\n#PeratonEarlyCareer\n\nQualifications\n\n Required Qualifications:\n\nUS Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph prior to starting.\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related technical or scientific fields, such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, information technology, management information systems, or related STEM degree program and 0-2 years of experience.\nMay/June 2027 grads are welcome to apply.\nStrong foundational knowledge working with Java OOP development.\nWillingness to learn and become an effective team member.\nStrong written and oral communication skills.\n\nDesired Qualifications:\n\nAn already active TS/SCI security clearance.\n3.0 and above GPA.\nDemonstrated experience with the systems engineering life cycle.\nPrevious hands-on experience through coursework or internships.\nBasic understanding of an object-oriented programming language, preferably Java or Python\nBasic understanding of scripting languages, such as Bash and Python\nExperience integrating Jenkins and Docker for automated CI/CD pipelines\nActive CompTIA Security+ CE Certification\nDetails\n\nTarget Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
