As NASA’s largest engineering solutions provider working together with NASA at centers across the United States.\n\n*This position is temporary and is not to exceed 6 months\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nGenerate essential paperwork and documents for tasks assigned, such as Task Performance Sheets (TPS), Discrepancy Reports (DR), and Detailed Test Procedures (DTP), as needed.\nMaintain and ensure baseline test configuration and document any configuration changes.\nGenerate assembly and test procedures.\nAssemble and test hardware.\nPerform hardware troubleshooting to investigate mechanical and electrical failures within flight hardware or test support hardware, and rework as necessary.\nDesign, assemble, and evaluate test fixtures as necessary.\nCoordinate with test facilities and generate documentation for external tests (i.e. EMI, Acoustic, Vibration, Thermal Cycle).\nPlace and carefully track progress of procurements.\nGenerate verification documentation and review design memos, test reports, etc.\nWork with NASA Engineering to manage the assessment of certification products.\nPrepare flight articles for launch and coordinate flight logistics.\nWork in a team environment, and report to project lead or project manager for technical support, task assignment, and processes.\nFacilitate across various stakeholders to achieve integration of program objectives.\nMaintain a professional relationship with the NASA customer and other NASA support contractors.\nPerform job functions based on pre-established guidelines or instructions.\n\nPerform other duties as required.\n\nEducation and Experience:\nThis position has been posted at multiple levels.
