This is a position for a talented Construction Manager seeking a growth opportunity to advance their skills and requires the ability to be onsite at projects full time.\nThe ideal candidate for this opportunity can work independently with minimum supervision, has sound construction management skills, is team oriented, personable, and possesses a strong desire to make a positive contribution to the business. This position requires a well-organized and versatile individual who is experienced in construction management with some experience in project management.\nResponsibilities:\nWork under the general supervision of Senior Management, managing projects and serving as a liaison between owners, contractors, engineers, and architects\nManage and conduct regularly scheduled meetings, providing organized and articulate minutes and/or follow up\nEnsure projects are running smoothly and are on schedule, identifying problems areas and working with the team to provide solutions\nProvide constructability review by reading drawings, identifying issues, working with responsible team for resolution\nCoordinate testing and inspections\nReview and prepare cost estimates, including initiating change orders as needed\nPrepare thorough and organized status reports\nReview schedules, pay requests, RFIs and submittals\nPerform other duties as assigned\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management\nMinimum 10 years of experience in construction management working as Owner's Representative\nCalifornia PE or CCM Certification required\nOnsite experience performing construction management on public works projects\nStrong organizational, prioritization, and detail-oriented skills\nSolid experience with the MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word\nExperience with scheduling software (i.e., MS Project and/or Primavera) strongly preferred\nExperience with Small to Large projects ($5M - $200M)\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nExcellent customer service skills including an ability to interact professionally and knowledgeably with clients\nExperience working with government agencies\nWe offer a competitive benefits package that includes company paid medical, dental and vision insurance, vacation and a 401(k) plan.
