As a Controls Engineer at ASC Process Systems, you'll design and commission custom control systems for advanced process equipment used by leading manufacturers across the globe.\nFrom the shop floor to customer sites worldwide, no two projects are the same. This hands-on role combines engineering, troubleshooting, and customer interaction, with up to 75% travel for installations, startups, and training both domestically and internationally.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign and upgrade control systems for custom process equipment.\nPerform in-house as well as field commissioning and customer training of control systems.\nOversee field installations of control systems.\nTrack project schedules and contract specifications to assure adherence to customer and company mandates.\nCommunicate with customers via email and telephone regarding product design and schedule.\nEvaluate existing products for possible design improvements, cost efficiency, and reliability.\nCreating technical documentation.\nTravel up to 75% to customer sites locally, domestically, and internationally.\nREQUIREMENTS\nBachelor’s degree or technical degree in Engineering, Controls, Automation, or a related field required.\nExperience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or GE) and HMI software preferred.\nAbility to work safely in both office and manufacturing environments.\nMust be able to wear required PPE, including hard hats, steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.\nWHY JOIN ASC\nAt ASC, we work hard, but we also make sure to have fun along the way.
