Controller","description":"Company Overview\nThe Jonathan Group maintains 8 facilities across 8 business units throughout North America, specializing in machining and fabrication operations for the Defense, Aerospace, Commercial, and Technology markets.\nPosition Overview\nThe ideal candidate will have broad accounting experience, proven record executing process improvements, and comfortable “rolling up their sleeves”.\nClose the monthly and year-end books, ensuring transactions are accurately reflected in the GL and compliance with GAAP\nManage and coordinate with other teams (Engineering, Operations, etc.) to ensure accurate cost accounting expenses for Materials, Labor, Overhead, BOM, Routers, etc.\nEstimate new and proposed product costs and run standard cost roll-ups on the ERP system\nEnsures all account reconciliations are prepared timely\nMonthly, weekly, and daily internal reports to management\nProvide timely and accurate financial reporting to internal stakeholders\nCoordinates A/P and A/R activity with other team members.\nAnalyzes actual results vs. plan.\nProvides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.\nSupports commissions calculations for internal and external sales reps.\nAssist with internal and external audits\nWork with SVP Finance and Corporate Controller to develop policies, and procedures, including the design and implementation of processes and internal controls\nOther special finance and accounting projects as assigned.\nDesired Skills and Experience:\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, CPA preferred.\n8+ years accounting experience preferred\nManufacturing experience preferred.\nFirm grasp of ERP systems\nStrong analytical skills and ability to analyze financial data.\nExcellent communications and interpersonal skills.\nSelf-motivated and independent with a strong work ethic.\nDetail-oriented and strong organizational skills.\nExcellent
