Come join us.\n\nHelp Facilitate Our Clients’ Duty Recovery Efforts\nThe opportunity:\n\nFlexport is looking for a Drawback Associate to join our Drawback and Refund Services branch of our Trade Management team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for optimizing our clients’ drawback recoveries and facilitating their drawback experience alongside some of the smartest people in the logistics industry as we collectively challenge the status quo and reduce the friction in global trade.\n\nYou will:\n\nPrepare US and foreign duty drawback or other duty and import tax refund forms and data as necessary for establishing and maintaining our clients’ drawback programs\n\nCollect and analyze import, export, manufacturing, and other business documents and data\n\nComplete data entry, when necessary, to convert data into electronic formal\n\nPrepare drawback claims utilizing drawback software solutions, analyze results, and troubleshoot issues\n\nManage and maintain import, export, and other client and claim databases\n\nSubmit documentation and claims to Customs and follow up as necessary\n\nWork to ensure compliance with drawback and other regulations\n\nManage the day-to-day drawback operations for clients\n\nAssist your team and the drawback organization with tasks that will allow for timely and effective filings of claims.\n\nAssist Senior Associates when onboarding team members, with client communication and when working with new clients in order to prepare for future opportunities on the drawback team.\n\nYou should have:\n\nStrong interpersonal skills and detail-oriented with superior organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills\n\nExpertise with Microsoft Office suite with emphasis on Excel and Google equivalents, analytical tools and functions highly desirable\n\nFamiliarity with large sets of data\n\nMastery of email communication. You keep the inbox at zero.\n\nHigh level of computer literacy. No paper.
