Arizona Driver Training Academy is looking for qualified individuals.Be of good moral character, at least 5+ years of driving experience and have the minimum of a highschool education or the equivalent.Hold a valid Arizona driver license.Have a satisfactory driving record.W-2 Employee. We are seeking dynamic and energetic People to become Driving Instructor's. To inspire and guide new drivers on their journey to safe and confident driving. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive driving lessons and foster a positive learning environment. Your expertise will empower students to develop essential driving skills while ensuring they understand traffic laws and safety protocols. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on aspiring drivers’ lives through engaging teaching methods and expert guidance. Responsibilities •\tProvide hands-on behind-the-wheel instruction to students, demonstrating safe driving techniques in various road conditions •\tAssess students’ progress regularly and tailor lessons to meet individual learning needs •\tMaintain a safe, supportive, and motivating environment for all learners •\tEnsure all training complies with local licensing regulations and industry standards •\tManage scheduling of lessons efficiently, being on time and professional. •\tDocument student performance, attendance, and progress accurately with DocuSign forms for each student. Experience •\tValid driver license. •\tDemonstrated ability to manage environments effectively, especially when working with adult learners or new drivers •\tExcellent communication skills to clearly convey instructions and feedback to students of diverse backgrounds •\tPrior classroom management experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for teaching is essential •\tFamiliarity with adult education principles and working with students of varying skill levels enhances effectiveness Training •\t40 hours of behind-the-wheel training (observing student lessons & training techniques, lesson planning, route plans) Paid at training rate, not hiring rate. •\t10 hours of IPAD, Documents, E-learning resources. (Self-paced and done on your own time) •\t50 hours of studying for ADOT Instructor test. AZ Laws & Regulations, Title 17 & Title 28, Driver Manual, Instructor Handbook & Driving School Curriculum. (Self-paced & done on your own time) ADOT Instructor application •\tADOT forms Background check & Finger Printing •\tFieldPrint office, with Driving school code to be processed and released to ADOT.
