This role is expected to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Software Ground Systems (SGS) Engineering area of ESA.\n\nThe selected candidate will provide a full range of administrative work assignments for our team. We are looking for an ambitious Administrative Associate who is driven, highly organized, levelheaded, professionally mature and an effective communicator and comfortable interacting with all levels of management.\n\nThe Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit comprises the technical talent and organizational leadership that enables the successful delivery of high-impact discriminating technologies for our customers’ missions. Our collaborative, cross-functional teams are committed to innovation, integrity, continual learning and strong execution.\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\n\nPerform a wide variety of general administrative tasks.\nSchedule, plan and facilitate meetings, teleconferences, and videoconferences.\nMake travel arrangements and prepare expense reports.\nCoordinate office supply needs, order hardware, and maintain a purchase card account.\nProcess new hire and termination move orders.\nEnter ITS and Facilities help desk tickets.\nArrange catering and plan for other employee events or internal meetings.\nMay file and retrieve records, folders, or other materials.\nMay perform computer data entry, retrieval, word processing, and prepare presentation materials. Operate other computer software programs and various other types of office equipment.\nRepresent organizational unit in working with administrative policies and procedures.\nLearn and become proficient in enterprise systems, rules and procedures.\nWork with sensitive and confidential information.\nMaintain a regular and predictable work schedule.\nEstablish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.\nPerform other duties as necessary.\n\nOn-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site four days (Monday – Thursday) each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.\n\nWorking Conditions:\n\nWork is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.\n\nHourly Rate: $20.19 - $26.63\n\nRequired Education, Experience, & Skills\n\nHigh School diploma or equivalent plus 2 or more years of related experience.\nEach higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor’s or Master’s, may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.\nExtensive computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Applications) and high-level administrative skills.\nAbility to work with considerable independence and as part of the team.\nAbility to work under pressure and handle multiple assignments concurrently.\nDemonstrated decision making based on knowledge of organization policies and procedures, and the Director's requirements.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality concerning sensitive information.\n\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $42000 - $55400\n\nPlease note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
