Join us.\n\nJob Description\n\nAECOM is actively seeking a talented Environmental Project Coordinator for employment in our Denver or Ft. Collins, CO office. This role would entail working under an AECOM Project Manager to assist with planning, preparing and executing environmental investigation and remediation work associated with upstream oil and gas clients within Colorado. The role has a preference for a hybrid work model and can be based out of our office locations in Denver or Ft. Collins.\n\nResponsibilities for this position may include the following:\n\nUnderstands site investigation and remediation techniques to drive solutions for our clients.\nResponsible for the management of projects and establishes project-specific objectives under the direction of the Project Manager.\nProvides management and guidance to AECOM staff, subcontractors, and vendors.\nProvide mentorship and direction to junior and/or field staff.\nAssist with overseeing and delivering projects in accordance with specifications, budget, and schedule\nDetermine and define project scope and objectives.\nOversee the management of all phases of projects.\nAssist with report preparation and review.\nPredict resource needs and manage resources effectively.\nProvide technical oversight and quality control.\nProvide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress at the direction of the Project Manager.\nIdentify, mitigate, and manage project risks.\nConsistently deliver profit margins as planned.\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum Requirements\n\nBS in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field, AND (2) Two + years of experience in site investigation, remediation, project management and business development experience OR demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.\nUS Citizen or US Permanent Resident.\nSuccessful candidate will be required to pass a background check.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n5+ years of experience in site investigation, remediation, project management, and business development experience.\nLicensed (Professional Engineer or Geologist).\nExperience working with Local and State of Colorado,\n40-hour HAZWOPER certified (current).\nPMP certification.\nExperience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nSponsorship is not offered for this position\nRelocation is not offered for this position\n\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
