This role is responsible for building and scaling infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering practices that improve reliability, efficiency, and delivery speed. The position requires strong technical depth across cloud, automation, and infrastructure, along with the leadership skills to guide a global team and influence cross-functional partners. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, QA, and IT teams to strengthen system performance, operational excellence, and long-term platform scalability.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nLead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, ensuring best practices in automation, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD.\n\nCollaborate with development, QA, and IT teams to streamline deployments and optimize system reliability.\n\nOversee infrastructure as code (IaC), monitoring, and security implementations.\n\nDrive continuous improvement in DevOps processes and culture.\n\nEvangelize DevOps best practice and technologies, working closely with development teams to drive adoption.\n\nEnsure high availability, performance, and security of applications and infrastructure.\n\nEvaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance efficiency.\n\nKeep up to date with industry trends and competitor products.\n\nMeasure and analyze product success using relevant KPIs (uptime, cost, adoption).\n\nAct as the subject matter expert for internal teams regarding product direction and supported use cases.\n\nEstimate costs, build business cases, and assist with budget creation.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like:\n\nDevOps practices are consistently adopted across teams, improving deployment reliability and engineering efficiency.\n\nInfrastructure and CI/CD pipelines support scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.\n\nUptime, cost, and adoption metrics demonstrate measurable operational improvement.\n\nCross-functional teams work effectively together to streamline delivery and reduce friction.\n\nDevOps culture and best practices are embedded into engineering workflows.\n\nThe organization is able to scale infrastructure and delivery capabilities in line with business growth.\n\nCandidate Requirements:\nRequired\n\n10-15 years of experience.\n\n3-5 years of management experience, ideally with a focus on technical/infrastructure products.\n\n3-5 years of experience as a software engineer, DevOps engineer, or systems architect.\n\nStrong expertise in AWS technologies (EKS, MSK, VPC, RDS, etc).\n\nSignificant hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Octo, GitHub Actions).\n\nProficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).\n\nStrong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).\n\nExcellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.\n\nCan work comfortably in JIRA following the Agile methodology.\n\nAbility to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively.\n\nHigh resilience and the ability to manage change.\n\nPreferred\n\nExperience leading global, distributed DevOps or platform engineering teams.\n\nExperience driving DevOps transformation or large-scale infrastructure modernization initiatives.\n\nFamiliarity with site reliability engineering (SRE) principles and practices.\n\nExperience managing budgets, cost optimization, and vendor relationships in cloud environments.\n\nExperience operating in high-growth or enterprise-scale environments.\n\nCompensation and Benefits:\nCompensation range: $138k - $210k\n\nWe invest in the whole employee - personally and professionally.
