The After Hours and Weekends Specialist at TransLoop plays a vital role in effective communication, constant updates, and keeping a close eye on the details. A responsibility to ensure the overall after-hours and weekends process runs just as smoothly as on the weekdays.What You'll DoTrack and trace all shipments picking, in-transit, and delivering on evenings and weekends.Communicate effectively with team members and employees in other departments.Provide customers updates on their shipments by utilizing proper protocol, including but not limited to established systems and customer portals. Recover shipments that are at risk of service failures, by effectively utilizing existing company resources.Work with Carrier Sales Reps and Management to make sure all shipments are pre-planned by EOD Friday for the following weekend and Monday Morning. Lead by example by providing best-in-class adherence to established protocols and by establishing new carrier operations that strengthen the after-hours/weekends team, as well as TransLoop overall.What You'll Need2-3 years of logistics experienceIdentify a proven track record of high performanceCarrier/customer brokerage model experience Experience with high volume and multi-faceted accountsStrong writing, speaking, and overall communication skillsDetail-orientedBonus Points You have experience in 3PL, Transportation, or Tech
