This position supports the design, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and security of complex network infrastructure used in support of cybersecurity testing, training, and mission rehearsal events.\n\nPosition Responsibilities:\n\nDesign, implement, configure, and maintain IP and non-IP network infrastructure supporting NCRC operations and cybersecurity events.\nConfigure, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other network infrastructure.\nConfigure and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network technologies, including VLANs, routing protocols, access controls, and network segmentation.\nSupport network services and associated server infrastructure required for test and operational environments.\nMonitor network performance, availability, and security and troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.\nSupport the integration of physical and virtual network infrastructure within test and operational environments.\nImplement and maintain network configurations in accordance with applicable DoD cybersecurity requirements, including STIG requirements.\nSupport vulnerability identification, remediation, patching, and configuration management activities.\nProvide technical troubleshooting and network support during cybersecurity testing, training, and mission rehearsal events.\nDocument network configurations, topology diagrams, changes, troubleshooting activities, and operational procedures.\nCollaborate with network engineers, system administrators, cybersecurity personnel, and other technical disciplines to develop and support NCRC test environments.\nParticipate in technical meetings and provide network engineering recommendations and technical input as required.\n\nPosition Requirements:\n\nBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Technology, or a related technical discipline.\nMinimum of 5 years of relevant network engineering, network operations, cybersecurity, system administration, or related IT experience.\nHands-on experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting routers, switches, and network security devices.\nWorking knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, including VLANs, routing, switching, subnetting, and network segmentation.\nExperience supporting network infrastructure in DoD, Government, or other security-sensitive environments.\nFamiliarity with network security technologies, vulnerability management, and network monitoring tools.\nFamiliarity with DoD cybersecurity requirements, including DISA STIGs and applicable NIST security frameworks.\nAbility to troubleshoot complex network and systems issues and coordinate resolution across technical disciplines.\nStrong technical documentation and communication skills.\nActive Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.\n\nPreferred Skills:\n\nExperience supporting DoD cybersecurity testing, training, exercises, or test-range environments.\nExperience with Cisco routers, switches, and network infrastructure.\nExperience with Palo Alto or comparable network security appliances.\nExperience with virtualization technologies and virtual networking.\nExperience with network automation tools such as Ansible or scripting technologies.\nExperience with Linux and Windows server environments.\nAdditional networking or cybersecurity certifications.\n\nRequired Security Clearance:\n\nActive Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.\n\nRequired Certification(s):\n\nCompTIA Security+ certification (DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant).\nCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent advanced networking certification.\n\nEducation:\n\nBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Technology, or a related technical discipline is required.\n\nLocation: Orlando, FL\n\nS2Technologies is an equal-opportunity employer.
