Assembles surgical case carts and equipment according to departmental policies and procedures.\n\nACCOUNTABILITIES\nDECONTAMINATION:\nSeparates instruments from other articles for purposes of washing and decontamination and notifies supervisor of any missing items and reports any malfunctions.\nDisassembles, cleans, and decontaminates general, specialty and loaner instrumentation.\nFollows manufacturers recommendations when indicated.\nAssembles instruments, sets, and peel-pouched items. Prepares special items upon request.
