The duties and responsibilities listed above may be changed or supplemented at any time in accordance with business needs and conditions.\nEducation and Experience\nMinimum requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent,\nMinimum of 5 years' experience in a Product/Process Development role with a demonstrated track record\nCompetencies and Skills\nDemonstrated team building and leadership skills\n\"Out of the box thinker\" must be key driver providing engineering support\nAbility to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions\nMicrosoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook), generic CAD, and Visual Basic\nCompetent in firearm design with specific knowledge of machining, MIM, PIM, and stamping capabilities\nManage diverse, simultaneous projects of varying complexities\nStrong relations management, strategy development, project management, problem solving and change management skills\nProfessional and positive approach, self-motivated, strong in building relationships, team player dynamic creative with the ability to work on own initiative\nDemonstrated strong oral and written communication skills\nUnderstand and utilize Lean concepts for manufacturing & assembly operations\nPhysical Demands\nWorks in an office environment.\nAble to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.\nAble to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.\nNOTE: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nWork Environment and Personal Protective Equipment\nWithin any of our facilities, employees may be exposed to manufacturing noise, airborne liquid chemicals, fine particulate dust, ambient temperatures, and industrial lighting.
