This role will support the introduction and production ramp of two new products at their manufacturing facility.The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in process engineering, with experience spanning early-stage prototype builds through production-level assembly. Success in this role requires comfort in a fast-paced environment driven by rapid scaling and evolving priorities.MUST HAVES:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalentProficiency with MCAD software for 3D modeling and 2D drafting5+ years of experience in mechanical or process engineering rolesExperience designing mechanical tooling and fixtures for assembly processesHands-on experience with rapid prototype assemblyExperience in both prototype and production manufacturing environmentsExperience with production toolingProject management experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of quality control and process validation methodologiesFamiliarity with ISO-based quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100)Strong analytical, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skillsNICE TO HAVE SKILLS:Experience using Agile methodologies for PLMProficiency with SolidWorks for 3D modeling and 2D draftingMechanical stack-up analysis experienceStructural load analysis knowledgeFamiliarity with engineering project management tools such as JIRA, Agile, or similar systemsJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of North Reading, MA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
