Driver Manager/Dispatcher

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Driver Manager to oversee the daily operations of our logistics and transportation team. As a key member of our Driver Manager team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods from origin to destination, while also maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Duties Manage and coordinate the daily activities of our driver workforce, ensuring that all drivers are properly assigned and dispatched to their designated routes. Utilize our phone systems to communicate effectively with drivers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure seamless communication and timely deliveries. Maintain accurate records and data entry for all transportation activities, including shipment tracking, driver logs, and fuel management. Analyze transportation data to optimize routes, reduce costs, and improve customer service. Collaborate with our supply chain and 3PL teams to ensure that all logistics operations are aligned with our business objectives. Implement and maintain our transportation management system, ensuring that all drivers have the necessary tools and resources to complete their tasks efficiently. Oversee the shipping and receiving process to ensure that all goods are properly received and delivered to the correct locations. Provide coaching and training to drivers to improve their performance and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Develop and maintain a positive and professional work environment, promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and respect. Requirements Proven experience as a driver manager or in a related role. Strong understanding of transportation management systems, including SyteLine. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze transportation data and optimize routes. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with drivers, dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders. Ability to analyze data and identify trends to improve transportation operations. Experience with supply chain management and 3PL services. Ability to manage and motivate a team of drivers. Familiarity with transportation regulations and compliance with safety standards. Ability to work in a transportation management office environment and travel to various locations as needed.
