This position will oversee all functions of, and team members of the Cage\nEssential Functions\n1. Ensure compliance with the applicable Tribal, Federal, other laws, KTTT Gaming\nRegulations, and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.\n2. Ensure the highest possible standards of guest services by properly listening and responding\nto guest and team member concerns and questions.\n3. Supervise day-to-day activities of team members to include hiring, performance reviews,\nrewarding, corrective action, time and attendance, scheduling, shift selection, training,\nplanning work, assigning work, directing work, addressing complaints, resolving issues, and\nseparations of employment.\n4. Maintain adequate staffing levels, interview applicants, and train new hires.\n5. Maintains thorough knowledge of Cage operations, controls, and software updates.\n6. Plan, develop, and implement policies and procedures to meet required regulations.\n7. Maintain accurate and thorough department records and reports.\n8. Ensures the efficient operation of the casino cage, and maintain the integrity and security of\ncash and cash equivalents in the Cage.\n9. Monitor department team member's performance, ensure adherence to established internal\ncontrol procedures, and federal regulations.\n10. Supervises Cage operations during peak hours on promotion days and holiday weekends.\n11. Conduct team member meetings to review and discuss changes to policies and procedures,\nannounce promotions and upcoming events, address issues and concerns with team members,\nand promote teamwork.\n12. Perform duties of a Cage operations to meet the demands of business needs.\n13. Provide monthly cash level performance reports.\n14. Demonstrate and promote KLECH core values.\n15. Manage and maintain security of confidential information entrusted to position.\n16. Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training as assigned.\n17. Monitor compliance with Federal currency transaction reporting requirements, Title 31\nrequirements and IRS Currency Transaction Reports and property established Anti-Money\nLaundering policies. Maintain accurate MTL, MIL, CTR and SAR as needed.\n18. Perform other duties as assigned.\nMinimum Requirements to Qualifications:\n1) High School Diploma or GED required.\n2) Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field of study preferred.\n3) Minimum five (5) years of management required.\n4) Minimum of seven (7) years of Casino Cage, Main Bank, Banking, or experience handling\nand securing large sums of cash required.\n5) Must have knowledge of Banking Standards, National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC)\nMinimum Internal Control Standards (MICS), preferred.\n6) Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral. Bilingual in English and\nSpanish preferred.\n\nOther Criteria:\nQualified Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Members and qualified Native American\npreference is observed.\n\nSkills and Abilities:\n1) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.\n2) Ability to maintain effective relationships with vendors and all levels of team members.\n3) Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, stressful environment.\n4) Ability to meet multiple deadlines and multi-task.\n5) Ability to have strong critical thinking, analytical, and guest service skills.\n6) Must possess a positive attitude with strong organizational and leadership qualities.\n7) Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.\n8) Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.\n9) Ability to understand complex instructions and material.\n10) Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with individuals of varying social\nand cultural backgrounds and with team members of all levels.\n11) Ability to work effectively with individuals and demonstrate leadership and team building\nskills with empathy and enthusiasm.\n12) Ability to maintain confidentiality.\n13) Ability to follow and comply with established Casino guest service programs.\nPhysical Demands:\n1) While performing the duties of this position, the team member is regularly required to stand,\nsit, walk, push, pull, bend for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; talk and listen on\na regular basis.\n2) The team member must be able to concentrate for prolonged periods.\n3) Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral\nvision, and depth perception.\n4) The team member must be able to communicate effectively in person or using\ntelecommunications equipment.\n5) The team member must have the hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate a\nkeyboard, touch-screen display, telephone, and calculator.\n6) Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.\n\nWork Environment:\n1) Casino floor and normal office setting.\n2) Frequent walking and standing, with regular interaction with the general public.\n3) Temperature controlled environment with varying noise levels. May be exposed to high\nlevels of noise throughout the day.\n4) Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required including nights, weekends, and\nholidays.\n5) Must be able to perform under pressure, and work long hours under stressful conditions.\n6) May be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve issues with difficult guests\nand team members.\n7) May be exposed to various types of lighting including, but not limited to: artificial\nfluorescent lights, flashing lights, strobe lights, multiple colored lights, etc.\n8) May be exposed to cigarette smoke while on the casino floor.\n9) Travel may be required to perform one or more essential functions of this position.\n\nConditions of Employment:\n1) Must be able to obtain and retain a KTTT Gaming Commission License, including successful\ncompletion of background check necessary to obtain and maintain license.
