Manual Machinist

Job Description Description:We are seeking an experienced Manual VTL Machinist to join our team. This role requires advanced knowledge of manual machining processes, the ability to produce complex precision parts independently, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. The ideal candidate can work from prints with minimal supervision and contribute to problem-solving on the shop floor.ResponsibilitiesIndependently set up and operate manual VTL,sMachine complex parts to tight tolerances based on blueprints and specificationsRead and interpret detailed blueprints and job travelersSelect tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies for efficient productionPerform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instrumentsDiagnose and resolve machining and tooling issuesMaintain accuracy, quality, and productivity standardsFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work areaOther tasks as assigned by supervisorRequirements: Qualifications5+ years of experience as a manual machinistStrong knowledge of manual machining practices and shop mathProven ability to hold tight tolerances and machine complex componentsProficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges)Experience machining a variety of materials including steel, and stainless
