Our capabilities include enterprise and mission IT, large-scale intelligence systems, command and control, geospatial and data analytics, cybersecurity, logistics, training, and intelligence analysis and operations support.\nWe tackle some of the world's toughest security challenges for customers with mission-critical needs.\nClick here to learn more about Leidos Defense Systems.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities\nPlan, organize, secure, and manage resources to bring about the successful completion of international program goals and objectives.\nEnsure all programs run within scope, time, and budget constraints, with direct P&L responsibility.\nInterface with task and functional leaders, subcontractors, foreign government representatives, and support personnel across multiple countries and time zones.\nLead coordination of government acquisition activities in international environments, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and agreements.\nDevelop and maintain integrated program schedules, budgets, risk registers, and status reports.\nCommunicate program status, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership, both internal and client-facing.\nServe as the primary point of contact for international partners and customers, leveraging multilingual capabilities to facilitate effective communication.\nTravel internationally to support program execution, customer engagement, and partner coordination.\nRecommend and implement new solutions, processes, policies, and standards in support of the program's strategic objectives.\n\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s in Business Administration, International Relations, Systems Engineering, or a related field) and 8–12 years of prior relevant experience in program management – OR – Master's degree (preferably in Business Administration, International Relations, Systems Engineering, or a related field) and 6–10 years of prior relevant experience in program management\nActive DoD Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one\nDemonstrated experience with the U.S. Government acquisition process, including FAR/DFARS compliance and international acquisition frameworks\nProven experience managing programs with international scope, including foreign military sales (FMS), direct commercial sales (DCS), or other international defense programs\nStrong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to influence and align cross-functional teams and external stakeholders\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership on matters of strategic importance\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)\nMultilingual proficiency required.\nWillingness and ability to travel internationally a minimum of 50% of the time\nINCONUS and OCONUS residing outside of the Huntsville, AL area must be willing and able to travel to Huntsville, AL for a minimum of one week per month for team coordination\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nProgram Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent\nTop Secret/SCI\nExperience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case management and Security Cooperation programs\nFamiliarity with NATO standards, Status of Forces Agreements (SOFAs), or other international defense frameworks\nExperience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and management\nPrior experience living or working abroad in a defense or government contracting context\nFluency in additional languages beyond German and Japanese\n\nIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
