This project involves executing critical PCIe validation, including Gen4, Gen5, and Gen6 link and protocol tests, and driving root-cause analysis to ensure product reliability. This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.Key Responsibilities & DeliverablesThis role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:Execute PCIe Validation: Conduct Gen4/Gen5/Gen6 link and protocol tests across different platforms and system configurations, validating SSD behavior under abnormal and corner conditions.Collaborate & Debug: Triage failures from regression, bring-up, and customer scenarios by correlating PCIe traces, NVMe/OCP logs, and system logs.Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with FW, HW, and systems teams to root-cause issues, verify fixes, and roll improvements back into the test suite.Technical Tooling: Leverage PCIe analyzers/exercisers for trace capture and error injection, and utilize oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and BERTs as needed to support signal and protocol-level debug.Leadership: Lead coverage improvements based on lessons learned, standardize PCIe test APIs, and share debug and test Best Known Methods (BKMs) across products.Required Skills & Experience:We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements.
