Construction Estimator - Guardrail & Roadway

Shift and Time: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through FridayEntity: 3D SpecialtiesSummary Provides guardrail quotes and estimates, including plan take-off for materials, quantities, and specifications, ordering materials. Visit customer sites as appropriate, gather information for estimates, prepare estimates, proposals and obtain approval of plan. Review and negotiate contracts with customers, including obtaining the necessary insurance certificates, bid bonds, etc. Assist in building bid letting packets and quoting out contractors Provide submittals & complete certification packets for individual projects won Reviewing external shop drawings if required by project Following up with phone calls to contractors to get bid results Understanding process and specifications for respected counties and or states quoting in Assist Project Managers and customers with change orders to jobs in process. Planning for upcoming projects and supporting revenue generation through customer outreach and sales across product lines during the non-construction season. Other tasks as assigned.Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field from an accredited college is desired. Minimum two (2) years of directly related experience is a plus.
