Medical Technologist Location: Kilmarnock, VA Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $1,291 to $1,491 per week Shift Information: Nights - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/18/2026 About the Position Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states. Minimum Requirements: Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field, or equivalent education as required by client. MLT certification required. ASCP certification required or eligible by a nationally recognized certification agency. (Client requires MLT ASCP.) BLS certification required. Minimum 2 years of technical experience in a clinical laboratory setting required. Extensive core lab experience required, including Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, and Coagulation. Experience in hospital environments required. Sunquest laboratory information system experience required. Previous travel experience preferred but not required.
