This role involves harvesting small-diameter birch trees, utilizing saws, and bundling boughs in outdoor conditions.\n\nCompensation & Earnings Potential\n\nPay Rate: Piece-rate compensation of $3.00 per bundle (bundles of 10 boughs). Your daily wage is directly based on the number of completed bundles.\n\nProduction Benchmarks:\n\nLowest Producer: 7 bundles/hour = $21.00/hour\nMid-Range Producer: 10 bundles/hour = $30.00/hour\nAbove-Average Producer: 15 bundles/hour = $45.00/hour\n\nWork Schedule\n\nWorkdays: 5 to 7 days per week (employee choice).\nHours: 10 to 12 hours per day.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nIdentify and harvest birch trees according to specific project guidelines.\nFell and delimb trees efficiently using brush saws, loppers, or small chainsaws.\nProcess boughs into standardized bundles of 10 and organize harvested timber into stable, space-efficient piles to streamline transport and inventory management.\nFollow sustainable harvesting practices to minimize environmental impact and maintain forest health.\nMaintain a \"safety first\" mindset, strictly utilizing PPE and following OSHA logging standards.\n\nSkills & Qualifications:\n\nValid Driver's License required to travel to and from the job site.\nAbility to perform repetitive manual labor, including lifting, bending, and walking on uneven forest terrain for extended periods.\nExperience or demonstrated ability to safely operate basic forestry tools such as brush saws, loppers, or small chainsaws.\nAbility to accurately judge tree diameter to ensure only specified trees are harvested.\nSkill in stacking timber and bundle organization to maximize space and ensure stability.\n\nReady to get to work?
