Automotive Detailer – In-Shop & Mobile (Growth Opportunity)
Job Description
QMD Detailing & Autostyling is a growing Twin Cities–based automotive detailing company offering both in-shop and mobile detailing services. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our team and support both sides of the operation.
This role involves working in our shop as well as operating mobile detailing jobs as needed. Candidates should be comfortable driving company vehicles and working independently in the field while maintaining the same quality standards we deliver in-house.
As we continue to expand our service offerings and grow the team, there will be opportunities for increased responsibility, leadership, and higher pay tied directly to skill development.
Responsibilities
Perform professional interior and exterior detailing services
Work both in-shop and on mobile detailing jobs
Prep vehicles for ceramic coatings and paint correction
Perform paint correction and polishing (training provided)
Safely drive and operate company vehicles and equipment
Maintain a clean, organized shop and mobile setup
Communicate professionally with customers when on mobile jobs
Follow company processes and quality standards
Requirements
Valid driver’s license (required)
Comfortable driving company vehicles
Ability to drive manual transmission preferred
Reliable transportation to and from the shop
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically able to perform detailing tasks (standing, bending, lifting)
Experience
Prior detailing or automotive experience (not required but preferred)
Entry-level candidates will be considered with the right attitude and work ethic
Willingness to learn advanced services is required
