Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to work our Front Desk. This individual works with the team and doctors to keep the office running smoothly and efficiently. This includes handling calls, scheduling exams, checking patients in and out, updating contact information at each visit, and assisting with referrals.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner and provide clear directions and information as needed.
Manage the front desk, including answering phones, responding to emails, and coordinating patient appointments and scheduling.
Utilize our electronic health record system, to efficiently manage patient records and communicate with our healthcare team.
Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Collect and post patient payments and process payment batches daily.
Perform clerical duties which may include scanning, filing, and faxing.
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and ensure that all phone calls are handled professionally and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including ensuring that all necessary supplies and equipment are readily available.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient office operations.
Update contact information at each visit.
Track and report daily scheduling metrics.
Other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Willingness to learn and be trained in new skills
Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment..
Punctual and good attendance.
Courteous, personable, and positive attitude
