Job DescriptionSouthern Mechanical - Plumbing Project Manager (Multi-Family)/n/nSouthern Mechanical LLC is entering a period of sustained growth and has an immediate opening for an experienced (Multi-Family) Plumbing Project Manager. The goal of this position is this: Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting and implementation for projects ranging in size from $500,000 – $10 million./n/nSALARY RANGE: $95,000-115,000/YEAR Depending on experience/n/nBenefits:/n/n- 401(k)/n- 401(k) matching/n- Dental insurance/n- Flexible schedule/n- Health insurance/n- Life insurance/n- Paid time off/n- Retirement plan/n- Vision insurance/n/nCompensation package:/n/n- Weekly pay/n/n/n/nJob Responsibilities of a Plumbing Project Manager:/n/n- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of commercial/Multi-Family Plumbing and/or Piping systems/n- MUST be able to read, understand and interoperate job cost analysis reports/n- Negotiate contracts with GCs and subcontracted labor/n- Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation/n- Establish project objectives, completion milestones, procedures and performance standards./n- Site visits occasionally./n- Set-up a workable schedule for job cost control, labor, material, equipment and subcontractors/n- MUST be highly proficient with construction industry software such as: procore, sage, Spectrum, Raken, Microsoft office, Excel, and the like/n- Work with Project Team to ensure job drawings and change orders are up to date/n- Manage financial aspects of the contract, including but not limited to: financial forecasting, manpower forecasting, job cost tracking, preparing monthly billings, etc./n- Ensure projects are brought in on time and on budget./n- Interface with subcontractors, engineers, city and county officials and clients as required/n- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, win additional work/n- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, office team members, sub-labor, and subcontractors./n/nJob Requirements:/n/n- Self-directed with strong time-management skills/n- Resourceful and aggressive in providing high-quality results/n- Well-organized and able to meet deadlines and budgets/n- Provide weekly job cost reports/n- Knowledge of the plumbing construction business, including COR's, scheduling and cost control, general knowledge of code requirements, ability to read blueprints, budget preparation, negotiation skills/n- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity tools (Outlook, Word, Xcel, procore, construction management software.)/n- Experience with or ability to learn/ utilize construction software platforms to produce job projections, job costing, WIP reports and the like./n/nCompensation & Benefits:/n/nOur employees receive a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance; 401K; paid vacation and holidays; and reimbursement of approved job-related training and professional development.
