The Lead shall supervise contractor personnel to ensure quality performance and contract compliance, and ensure a safe and fair work environment.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nProvide day-to-day management of all personnel on the task. Act as a conduit between the off-site program manager and the government.\nServe as both the Project Lead and as the Capstone Exercise Lead and as an instructor for lesson blocks associated with the exercise. Be responsible for direct coordination with outside agencies, synchronize scheduling of meetings/trainings/briefings, maintain current contact information for all points of contact and agencies supporting the capstone exercise, keeping them updated and readily available on the shared electronic filing system.\nAs a member of the Education and Training Support Team, oversee development and publication of the schedule for full-cycle support to the Attaché Training Program (ATP) capstone exercise to include Advance Team operations, Training Week for support personnel and Exercise Week execution. Liaise with ATP Program Manager regarding personnel assignments and proposed changes.\nThe Lead shall ensure contractor personnel provided under this contract are clearly aware of the communications chain for all issues, including those related to work hours, approved leave, and/or any other personnel issues.\nThe Lead shall immediately bring performance issues to the attention of the contractor employee when required, and bring any uncorrected or uncorrectable contractor performance issues to the COR to ensure compliance with assigned tasks.\nActively support ongoing JMAS accreditation activities through participation on assigned accreditation committees and/or working groups and attendance at JMAS curriculum reviews; understand and support accreditation efforts by Council on Occupational Education (COE), International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET), American Council on Education, and potentially others deemed critical by the JMAS Board of Governors\nQUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED:\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited university.\nOne complete and successful tour as an Attache, Defense Liaison Officer, Assistant Defense Attache, Operations Coordinator (OPSCO), or Operations Coordinator NCO.\nMinimum ten (10) years of experience in the Department of War environment.\nTwo years experience as a JMAS instructor.\nDemonstrated experience in an educational or training context with an emphasis on adult learning.\nHIGHLY DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:\nPrior experience working with Foreign Affairs agencies (e.g., Department of State, USAID, and Intelligence agencies).\nSpecific knowledge of embassy operations overseas, understanding of a global workforce, and cross-cultural understanding living and/or working outside of the United States.\nPhysical and Environmental Requirements:\nMay be required to use computer screen for extensive periods of time.\nExtended working hours and travel may be necessary.\nWhat We Offer: (benefits vary based on FT, PT, or On-Call status)\nBenefits offered include Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance\nEmployer-paid Life insurance, long-term disability and short-term disability\nPaid time off -including 11 Holidays\nParticipation in the Chi-Chack LLC 401(k) plan\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the individual(s) assigned to this position.
