Join us.\n\nJob Description\n\nAECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer in Denver, CO.\n\nJob Details:\n\nPrepare structural designs, plans, specifications and cost estimates for transportation structures including bridges, retaining walls, and drainage structures\nProvide load rating analysis, rehabilitation concepts, and structure-type analysis evaluations\nUse current engineering design software\nPerform specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer\nGather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures\nWork on detailed and routine engineering assignments involving calculations and tests\nPropose approaches to solve problems encountered\nIdentify discrepancies in results\nProvide guidance to entry-level engineers\nPerform work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision\nTelecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week\n\nQualifications\n\nCandidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field of study and 2 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer, or in a related occupation.\n\nAlternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field of study and no experience.\n\nExperience and skills can be gained in pursuit of a university-level degree via coursework, projects, or internships.
