This includes legacy work addressing homelessness, domestic violence and aging.The PositionMAG seeks a bright, driven, team-oriented, experienced professional who can administer high-level activities including managing projects, writing in-depth reports, analyzing data, and interacting with key stakeholders and members of the public. The special projects administrator is responsible for project oversight for the MAG Community Initiatives Coordinating Committee and special human services projects. Supporting work also includes efforts and priorities of the Maricopa Regional Continuum of Care.Key responsibilities include:Serves as tactical lead on assigned projects or programmatic priorities, such as the Heat Relief Network, aging and domestic violence.Manages workgroup or committee activities, including the MAG Community Initiatives Coordinating Committee. Drafts meeting agendas, minutes, and public postings/notices. Follows up on tasks as an outcome of meetings.Develops and drafts detailed policy and technical briefing summaries.Builds relationships through regular coordination with member agencies, external agency partners, and non-profit organizations.Manages projects including budget review, resource allocation, and funding identification for new initiatives in alignment with policymaker direction.Monitors and maintains awareness of federal, state, Native nation, and local issues affecting laws, policies, and programs.The CandidateThe ideal candidate will have the skills to fulfill the responsibilities listed above.
