Warehouse Supervisor

The 2nd Warehouse Supervisor will oversee and coordinate daily warehousing activities by implementing quality, productivity, production, and customer service standards. The goal is to ensure that daily operations don’t just meet, but exceed daily performance expectations to increase the business's overall market share. The shift is 2pm-10pm. Monday- Friday (possible weekends if necessary) Supervisory Responsibilities: Lead the training of team members on proper job procedures and the timekeeping system. Communicate position expectations and train employees Lead the shift workflow and modify to ensure service levels are met. Duties & Responsibilities: Ensures that the necessary equipment is available for each shift. Assists in verifying that outgoing deliveries meet company quality standards. Ensure that team members are informed of rules, regulations, policies, and objectives. Make observations and initiate ways to improve department effectiveness. Assists in resolving conflicts that arise among associates. Measure and address the effectiveness of employee performance, disciplinary issues, and attendance. Define staffing needs and allocate workload Identify operations needing development and institute innovations to adjust current work practices and procedures Performs other related duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications: Established warehouse supervisory experience. Understanding of warehouse software and Microsoft Office proficiency Forklift experienced, required Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Strong organizational and time management skills Proven experience in coordinating and directing operations Education & Experience: High school diploma, GED or equivalent required. 4-5 years of warehouse experience.
