You will collaborate closely with firmware, software, validation, manufacturing, and customer support teams to deliver high-performance solutions from concept through production and customer deployment.\n\nThis is a hands-on technical leadership position requiring deep experience in Ethernet switch architectures, high-layer count PCB design, large ASIC/FPGA systems, and system-level troubleshooting in fast-paced AI/data center environments.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nLead hardware development activities for high-speed network switch platforms\nDrive complex PCB schematic design, layout reviews, and system-level hardware integration.\nLead hardware bring-up, debugging, validation, and root-cause analysis using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and related lab tools.\nLead/support the development, integration, validation, and customer support of next-generation CPO (Co-Packaged Optics) and photonics-based networking systems, including high-speed SI/PI, thermal co-design, optical diagnostics, and AI fabric optimization.\nCollaborate with firmware, software, validation, manufacturing, and FAE teams to support new product development and issue resolution\nSupport system integration, interoperability testing, and customer deployment activities for AI and data centers\nAnalyze and resolve hardware-related issues involving signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), thermal performance, optics, and transceiver interfaces\nParticipate in architecture reviews, design verification, engineering change reviews, and production readiness activities\nDevelop and maintain engineering documentation, including design specifications, validation reports, troubleshooting procedures, and change records\nContribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes, validation methodologies, and product quality standards\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline (Master’s degree preferred)\n8+ years of experience in hardware design and development for networking, server, or high-performance computing systems\nStrong understanding of Ethernet protocols, network switch architectures, and AI/data center networking technologies\nProven experience with high-speed and high-layer count PCB schematic and layout design\nStrong knowledge of signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), thermal design, and high-speed transceiver technologies, including optics and CPO concepts\nExperience with large ASIC, FPGA, and CPLD architecture; familiarity with Verilog-based development and debugging is preferred\nHands-on experience with hardware bring-up, system validation, and lab debugging tools\nFamiliarity with Linux environments, networking diagnostics, and system-level troubleshooting methodologies\nStrong cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment\nSalary Range\n$155,000 - $175,000\nThe offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
