The preferred candidates would be responsible for all aspects of the electromechanical assembly.\nCandidates will be assembling and/or modifying electromechanical equipment (e.g. Switchboards, Lighting Panels, etc.) with the use of mechanical tools and blueprints.\nJob is typically performed indoors, occasionally lifting heavy materials, wearing common safety equipment ( i.e. cut resistant gloves/sleeves, safety shoes, safety glasses, earplugs, etc..), being exposed to loud noises, operating forklifts, and light industrial machinery.\nMinimum Qualifications\nEducation- High School Diploma or equivalent\nExperience – 1-2 years of experience\nBasic computer skills and use of basic mechanical /measuring tools\nAbility to speak, read, write, and understand English\nAbility to stand to perform job duties\nAbility to reach, grasp and lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull and slide heavy material\nAbility to stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb\nMust be at least 18 years of age\nMust be detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.\nMust be willing to learn all equipment operated in the facility, and follow established processes\nMust be able to make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.\nPreferred not required – forklift operator - On-the-job training will be provided for candidates who do not have forklift experience but have at least a year of warehouse experience\nMain Job Duties:\nOperates tools and equipment common to the mechanical trade (e.g. hand & power tools).\nProcesses work orders (with the use of computers, scanning devices, etc.) in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders.\nScans in and out of work orders (with the use of computers, scanning devices, etc.) in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders.\nReads and interprets documents associated with the completion of mechanical assembly assignments (e.g. blueprints, bill of materials, one-line diagrams, etc.).\nGathers parts and accessories required in the assembly process.\nAssembles fabricated parts to create unit assemblies (Switchboards & Lighting Panels) or subassemblies.\nFastens component parts on cubicles or frames, subassemblies, or unit assemblies.\nConnects cables and basic wires.\nVerifies that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.\nDisassembles units to adjust or replace parts.\nMarks unit assemblies with identifying information and/or attaches identifying tags.\nReports non-conforming items (e.g. parts, schematics, blueprints, etc.)\nPrepares finished units for shipping (e.g. packing, sealing, labeling, etc.)\nCleans and maintains equipment and work area to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.\nAccesses and utilizes various documents, with the use of computers, associated with the manufacture of products in assembly (e.g. Quality and Safety Documents, Operating Instructions, etc.)\nPerforms other work as directed by Supervision.\nTo protect the health and safety of our workers, we have adopted standard EHS guidelines ( based on CDC guidelines).
