Brenton Operator- 2nd Shift (230pm-11pm)

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift and scissor lift. Responsible for the Brenton system, including working with the HMI screens, clearing jams as needed, and keeping the system loaded with supplies.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Learn and work with system HMI’s.
Keep the Brenton system running using a forklift and scissor lift as needed.
Perform general cleaning of the Brenton area and keeping the Brenton system supplied.
Assist in training co-workers as requested.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Attend meetings and trainings as required.
Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Knowledge of food safety programs, including HACCP , SSOPs and GMPs.
Knowledge of Company safety policies and procedures.
Skill in promoting a positive work environment.
Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to be a good representative of the Company.
Ability to obtain a forklift operator’s license.
Ability to work in cold temperatures.
Ability to multitask and work quickly.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to work overtime or weekends.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of one-year experience operating a forklift. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
