Family Engagement/Instructional Support SpecialistThe Texarkana Arkansas School District is accepting applications for Family Engagement/Instructional Support Specialist at College Hill Pre-K. This position requires a 220 Day Contract. The Family Engagement/Instructional Specialist serves as a critical link between schools, families, and the community while also supporting high-quality instruction in Pre-K classrooms. This position is responsible for strengthening family partnerships, increasing student readiness and success, and assisting teachers with instructional practices aligned to early childhood standards.This role supports compliance with Arkansas Better Chance (ABC) Program requirements, including family engagement, student support, and school readiness initiatives.Qualifications:Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or related fieldExperience working with young children and familiesKnowledge of Arkansas Better Chance Program requirementsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of early childhood development and best practicesUnderstanding of family engagement strategies and cultural responsivenessStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to build relationships with diverse families and staffAbility to support instruction and classroom managementOrganizational and documentation skillsProblem-solving and conflict resolution skillsExperience: Knowledge of Arkansas Better Chance Program RequirementsExperience working with young children and familiesThe Board may find appropriate and acceptable alternatives to the above qualifications.
