Job Description: Group Therapist
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Group Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in group therapy, particularly with adolescents, and a passion for fostering emotional intelligence.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate group therapy sessions for adolescents, focusing on emotional intelligence development.
Design and implement therapeutic activities and interventions tailored to the needs of the group.
Create a safe and supportive environment for participants to share and explore their emotions.
Monitor and assess the progress of group members, providing feedback and adjustments to therapy plans as needed.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and support for participants.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions and participant progress.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
Licensure as a therapist (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LSW) preferred.
Proven experience in conducting group therapy sessions, specifically with adolescents.
Strong understanding of emotional intelligence and its development in young individuals.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a nurturing and inclusive therapeutic environment.

Has a creative and flexible approach to therapy, able to engage and motivate young participants.
Is empathetic, patient, and skilled at building trust and rapport with adolescents.
