This position will have direct reports.\r\n\r\nReview production orders and schedules to ascertain product data such as type, quantity and specification of a product and scheduled delivery date.\r\nPlan assembly operations, establishing priorities and sequences for welding products.\r\nPrepare production schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of product meet specifications.\r\nResponsible for plant assembly area by maintaining adequate staffing in the areas to assemble products and ship all products in an orderly and timely manner.\r\nSupervise and monitor on the job training of production Team Members.\r\nMonitor parts and supplies in all areas and to keep purchasing aware of purchased part requirements.\r\nMaintain production records and files.\r\nUpkeep and maintenance of equipment assigned, and personal equipment issued to the department. (tools, gloves, aprons, etc.)\r\n\r\nRequirements\r\n\r\nWork Experience: Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing/weld environment.\r\nEducation: High School Diploma/GED\r\nComputer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary\r\nPhysical Environment: Fast-paced manufacturing environment, ability to tolerate a variable climate; occasionally lifting 30-75 pounds.\r\n\r\nPreferred Requirements\r\n\r\nEducation: 2-year degree in manufacturing-related field\r\n\r\nWhy We are Different\r\nAt LIPPERT, Everyone Matters.
