Troubleshoot systems problems.\nInstall new software and upgrade existing software.\nProvide support to Company personnel in staging event network/equipment, outage management, and general \"help desk\" assistance in the day-to-day activities.\nProvide consultation and assistance to all end-user departments in resolving network operational problems and questions.\nRecommend security procedures to each end-user.\nMonitor operations of all computers and software to ensure compliance with security policies.\nAdd approved new users to systems.\nStage and deploy systems.\nManage security enforcement for IT Service Providers that exchange data with PCS.\nDeploy, manage, and monitor technical security safeguards justified by the PCS risk assessment. At a minimum, technical safeguards will include perimeter security, access controls, vulnerability management, configuration management, virus protection, and event log analysis and reporting.\nThe System Administrator will maintain and summarize the following Information Technology activities:\nDaily troubleshooting logs.\nMaintenance of risk controls, including firewalls, access controls, virus protection, policy enforcement, and vulnerability management.\nSecurity monitoring reports.
