Day to day activities will include test planning and test case design, implementing automated test infrastructure and automated tests, tracking and reporting.\n\nWHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:\nDesigning test plans and test cases using a variety of technologies that are precise, accurate, repeatable, maintainable and clean.\nPerforming root cause analysis on issues found in order to develop automated regression tests.\nWorking closely with Engineering development departments within Spectra to facilitate the transfer of knowledge to the Test group for new projects and products.\nEffectively communicating with other development groups in order to provide all necessary information needed to fix the bugs found.\n\nWHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:\n\nB.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or 5+ years of related experience.\nAt least 5 years of industry programming experience.\nA passion for creating world class products by applying new testing methodologies.\nStrong analytical, diagnosis and troubleshooting skills.\nExperience with basic System Administrator for Windows, Unix, and Linux environments.\nAbility to work in an Agile environment where requirements and priorities can change very quickly.\nDemonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally.\nExcellent multitasking skills and attention to detail.\nA strong work ethic, the ability to work independently with little supervision, and share workload in team settings.\n\nIT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU HAD:\n\nExperience with Go.\nExperience with HW and SW integrated solutions.\n\nCOMPENSATION:\n\nBase salary range: $120,000 to $140,000 annually.
