We're on a roll-come join us!To be considered for this position, please complete your formal application on our careers page: Careers at OXCO.As a Material Handler you are responsible for efficiently and effectively wrapping, bundling, labeling, palletizing, packaging, transporting and storing finished goods produced on the production lines. Keeps the production lines cleared of finished items to promote machine efficiency. Assigns lot numbers and records item numbers, item quantities, units of measure (UOM) and locations. Material Handlers are responsible for multiple tasks in production and warehouse.Conduct, behavior and actions in accordance with OXCO core values of Caring, Creativity, Determination, Dependability and TeamworkUtilize computerized warehouse management systems (WMS), radio frequency (RF) scanners and barcodes to process customer orders, receive product and relocate items throughout the warehouseStage raw materials from the warehouse to the production lineConsolidates and stores raw and finished goods in their proper locationsSafely storing material and suppliesQuality inspection of incoming and outgoing ordersPerform cycle counts on raw and / or finished inventory and participate in all scheduled physical InventoriesShrink wrap machine to prepare finished goods for shipmentTransport completed production into warehouse or staging areas for shipment to customersUse bar code scanner to properly record storage locationsMaintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and working areas including the outside perimeter of the building around docks, common areas and landscapingAssist in the training of new employees as directed by leadership teamIdentify and communicate any safety concerns and report any property damagePerform and document daily forklift (PIT) and equipment inspectionsFlexibility to train and work in multiple areasRaise any issues or concerns that arise day to day work to the Supervisor, Plant Manager, or PresidentOther duties as assignedEducation: High School or GEDExperience: 1 year of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment preferredForklift clamp and carpet pole experience preferredLicense or Certification:Ability to obtain forklift or PIT certification as designated by OXCO to safely operate any powered equipment essential to the job functionSkills:High attention to detail accuracy in entering data and in communicating information with others; ability to see errors and identify inconsistenciesCollaboration Work effectively with other personnel to achieve established outcomes and resolve issuesDependability - consistent attendance is required and rewardedThis job requires the ability to stand and walk most of the shift. Must be able to reach, push and pull 30 pounds and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
