Other duties may be assigned.\n\nSupport requirements development with conceptual design and analysis\n\nMechanical design of products to satisfy commercial aerospace, customer defined or internally derived requirements (FAA, RTCA, ARINC and MIL STD) using PTC Creo\n\nThermal and structural analysis to ensure appropriate design reliability\n\nValidation of analytical results with mock-ups and/or prototype testing\n\nProvide technical support for environmental qualification testing\n\nProvide technical support for sustaining engineering activities\n\nCoordinate mechanical design activities with other functional areas\n\nMaintain CAD and CAD data management software (PTC Creo & Windchill)\n\nThis classification includes engineers who are capable of handling complex engineering assignments with little direct supervision or oversight.\n\nCompetency\nTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nAn individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job successfully.
