This role is responsible for maintaining warehouse accuracy, fulfilling parts requests promptly, and ensuring safe and effective truck loadingall of which are essential to production success. The position requires a high level of safety awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of requests while prioritizing effectively. The individual must be capable of working independently, collaboratively within a diverse team, and stepping into leadership responsibilities as needed. This role also contributes to continuous improvement efforts in productivity, quality, effectiveness, and safety.Work Schedule:Shipping Team:\r\nTuesday - Friday\r\n6:00am - 4:00pm\r\nHighlights of your role:Read, sort and process complete orders.\r\nAttach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.\r\nAbility to read and understand visual and written assembly instructions on a computer screen to retrieve parts from a pick list.\r\nAssist with the upkeep of warehouse inventory and with the loading and unloading trucks.\r\nIssue parts to the lines as needed and operate a forklift to move/deliver parts to the line in a timely manner.\r\nOperate power hand tools, scanners, computers, and work with various other equipment.\r\nMaintain an accurate inventory.\r\nConduct equipment inspections and report mechanical issues.\r\nMaintain clean and organized docks and warehouse aisles.\r\nParticipate in cross-training across logistics functions.\r\nMaintain a safe work environment by following safety rules and participating in reporting of unsafe conditions or instances.\r\nNotify the Supervisor of any mechanical or defective material issues.\r\nCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding parts, inventory, and safety concerns.\r\nSupport training of new team members.\r\nIdentify and communicate process improvements.\r\nOperate advanced equipment\r\nPromote a culture of safety and integrity by consistently following all safety protocols, reporting hazards, and engaging in training and initiatives.\r\nYou're a good fit if you have (or if you can):High School diploma or GED required\r\nComputer classes and/or production experience is helpful, as is general MRP systems knowledge\r\nAbility to obtain/maintain a forklift certification is required\r\nAbility to obtain/maintain a Combi-Lift certification is preferred\r\nAlso want to make sure you have:Strong proficiency in multiple logistics functions including receiving, loading, and inventory control.\r\nAbility to operate advanced equipment such as Man Up Pickers at elevated heights.\r\nStrong communication and organizational skills to support cross-functional collaboration.\r\nCommitment to safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.\r\nAbility to support and train new team members effectively\r\nWe invite you to See Yourself at Marvin:From people to products, Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
