With over 125,000+ devices installed and growing rapidly through the professional contractor channel, iFLO Pro is creating a new category focused on system protection, recurring service opportunities, and connected home monitoring. The Role iFLO Pro is seeking a hands-on Field Applications Engineer to serve as the technical face of our brand to HVAC Dealer Partners across the United States. This hybrid role combines field applications engineering, dealer training, customer support escalation, and sales support. The ideal candidate is a seasoned HVAC professional who is equally comfortable troubleshooting a complex install, leading a classroom of dealer technicians, and jumping on a call to help work through a customer support escalation. This role is critical to scaling iFLO Pro nationally. You will directly influence contractor adoption, installation quality, and long-term customer success. Your ability to train, troubleshoot, and support dealer partners will drive product sell-through, reduce service issues, and help establish iFLO Pro as a new standard in HVAC Condensate Management protection. The role requires extensive travel for in-person training and field support, balanced with virtual training delivery, content creation, and remote escalation support from our Miramar HQ. Key ResponsibilitiesField Applications & Technical Engineering * Serve as the senior technical resource in the field, supporting HVAC Dealer Partners with installation and troubleshooting of iFLO Pro products on-site. * Diagnose complex technical issues at customer and dealer locations, recommend corrective action, and document findings to drive product and process improvements. * Partner with engineering and product teams to feed field insights back into the product roadmap. Product Training & Content Creation * Develop and conduct in-person training for HVAC partners at dealer locations, trade shows, and regional events across the United States. * Create high-quality training content, including technical manuals, presentations, and digital learning modules. * Build and maintain a learning management system (LMS) on the iFLO Pro Dealer Portal for continuous education and certification. Customer Support & Escalations * Act as the senior escalation point for technical support cases that cannot be resolved by frontline customer service. * Own complex dealer and end-user issues from triage through resolution, coordinating with engineering, product, and operations as needed. * Track escalation trends and partner with the support team to update knowledge base articles, FAQs, and training materials to reduce repeat issues. Sales Support * Partner with the sales team on technical pre-sales conversations, ride-alongs, and dealer pitches, especially for strategic and high-value accounts. * Lead technical product demonstrations at trade shows, regional sales events, and prospect meetings. * Mentor dealers on product positioning and objection handling. Qualifications & Skills * *HVAC Field Experience.* Proven hands-on HVAC experience required, including installation, service, and troubleshooting of residential and light commercial systems. 3+ years strongly preferred. * *Training & Public Speaking.* Experience training technicians or dealers in person and virtually, with strong public speaking and classroom-management skills. * *Customer Support & Sales Acumen.* Comfortable owning escalations end-to-end and partnering with sales reps to translate technical capability into customer value. * *Content Creation.* Skilled at writing training materials, building learning curricula, and recording and editing training videos. * *Travel.* Willing and able to travel up to 75% across the United States, including occasional weekends for trade shows or dealer events. * *Communication & Organization.* Excellent communication skills and strong project management ability to balance training, escalations, and field work simultaneously. Nice to Have * Experience with smart home, IoT, or connected HVAC products. * Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) or digital training platforms. * Prior experience supporting a dealer or distributor channel, or background in manufacturer technical support or field service engineering.
