Hatchery Tour Guide Volunteer

Lead educational tours of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery to teach students and public groups about salmon conservation, hatchery fish operations, and watershed stewardship. Timing: Year-round, however, mostly in the fall. From September to November, volunteer tour shifts are usually weekdays at 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, and 2 pm and weekends from 10 am - 12 pm and 1 pm - 3 pm. Location: Issaquah Salmon Hatchery Requirements: Volunteers must be age 16 or older. Commitment: 18+ hours Complete volunteer registration (0.5 hours) Attend volunteer orientation (1 hour) Attend Hatchery Tour Guide Training (8 hours) Lead Hatchery Tours (8+ hours)
