A better future?\n\nYour work will include, but not be limited to:\n\nThe Role:\n\nMaintain customer concern countermeasure list for Plant issues.\n\n8D report creation and coordination.\n\nProcedures for Quality.\n\nSupport internal quality issues.\n\nSupport supplier quality issues.\n\nSupport design changes and trials.\n\nMentor technicians on Quality issues.\n\nReview procedures for the Quality System.\n\nQuality control activity management.\n\nCAPAconcern tracking chart.\n\nSpecial requests from Customer.\n\nMaintain customer concern countermeasure list for warranty issues.\n\nPPAP Approval (PSW, AAR, Inspection).\n\nSWI’s for Quality tasks.\n\nCreate quality inspection data and forms.\n\nCreate Quality Alerts.\n\nCreate Inspection Standards.\n\nDirect Maturity Workshops.\n\nUpdate control plan and flow charts.\n\nCreate Monthly DPPM, RPPM, and warranty charts.\n\nCustomer Audits.\n\nCustomer presentations for Quality issues.\n\nOrder tools and spec out equipment.\n\nParticipates in design of call monitoring formats and quality standards.\n\nUses quality monitoring data management system to compile and track performance at team and individual level.\n\nProvides actionable data to various internal support groups as needed.\n\nCoordinates and facilitates call calibration sessions for Lear staff.\n\nProvides feedback concerning quality team leaders and managers.\n\nPrepares and analyzes internal quality reports for management staff review.\n\nResponsible for new material sample approval.\n\nConfers and corresponds with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.\n\nEnsures quality conforms to requirements; workmanship standards, work instructions, engineering documents, and thorough testing are used to assess the conformance of the product, and non-conformances are either immediately repaired and re-inspected, or identified and segregated from conforming product.\n\nInspects the product and/or audits processes based upon the quality history, criticality, and capability of the processes.\n\nDevelops methods for inspection, testing, sampling, and training.\n\nEvaluates production capabilities and recommends improvements.\n\nAssists in developing quality assurance policies and procedures.\n\nInspects and verifies a wide variety of equipment, parts, and subassemblies to ensure conformance to the latest revision of the design specifications, drawings, and industry quality standards.\n\nPerforms inspection operations referring to copies of schematics, specifications, assembly prints and piece part drawings.\n\nWorks with engineering groups to develop measuring equipment standards and techniques for new or unusual precision mechanical parts and assemblies.\n\nExamines, evaluates, and disposes rejected material.\n\nTracks and reduces rejected inventory.\n\nVerifies conformance of parts and assemblies to specifications using various inspection equipment (CMM, surface plate, calipers, verniers, height gauges, etc.).\n\nHelps to maintain the integrity of the inspection equipment in the area.\n\nEnsures that all equipment is in calibration.\n\nAids in scheduling calibration of the equipment with the third-party calibration lab.\n\nAssists other inspectors collaborating with them to exchange and share knowledge.\n\nReports serious quality issues to the department lead and assist in working towards that appropriate corrective action recommendation.\n\nPerforms inspection on returned material (RGA s) and determine appropriate disposition to either MRB or stock.\n\nYour Qualifications:\n\nPossess knowledge of IATF16949 quality management system and quality control techniques.\n\nCertified IATF 16949 Lead Auditor preferred: internal auditor certification acceptable.\n\nPossess knowledge of VDA 6.3\n\nPossess application knowledge of FMEA, SPC, TQM, etc. methodology.\n\nPossess strong analytical, problem-solving, and people skills.\n\nBonus If You Have:\n\nBS/BA in any related field and 5-years’ experience in an automotive just in time environment.\n\nLear Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to a diverse workplace.\n\nApplicants must submit their resume for consideration using our applicant tracking system.
