This position is responsible for helping ensure work is completed accurately, safely, and in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and schedules. The Field Engineer will work closely with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, vendors, and project teams to support the successful execution of treatment plants, pump stations, underground utilities, and related infrastructure projects.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nAssist project teams with daily field operations and coordination activities on water and wastewater construction projects\n\nPerform quantity takeoffs and assist with quantity tracking and reporting\n\nSupport the preparation and maintenance of project budgets, schedules, and cost reporting\n\nCoordinate and review submittals, RFIs, and project documentation\n\nParticipate in daily and weekly safety meetings and support implementation of project safety programs\n\nAssist with procurement and scheduling of subcontractors, materials, and equipment\n\nSupport project engineers and superintendents in developing work plans and tracking project progress\n\nMaintain accurate project records, including drawings, specifications, daily reports, and field documentation\n\nAssist with change order pricing, tracking, and documentation\n\nParticipate in project closeout activities, including punch list coordination and As-Built drawing preparation\n\nPerform field inspections and jobsite walks to verify work progress and quality\n\nCommunicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, owners, inspectors, and internal project teams\n\nPerform additional duties as assigned to support project success\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n1-3 years of construction experience, preferably in heavy civil, water, or wastewater projects\n\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred\n\nUnderstanding of water and wastewater infrastructure construction, including treatment plants, pump stations, and underground utilities preferred\n\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications\n\nStrong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills\n\nStrong prioritization and time management abilities; detail-oriented\n\nProficient in Microsoft programs such as Excel and Word\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\n\nAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team\n\nMust be capable, licensed, and approved to drive a company vehicle to work sites, offices, and other required locations\n\nMust be able to walk on uneven terrain and work in active construction environments\n\nWhy You’ll Love Working with Us\nAt Crescent Constructors, Inc., we invest in our people because they are the foundation of our success.
