This position is considered a temporary, part-time position used to fill online, hybrid, and in-person courses. Areas of need include Business, Social Services and Criminal Justice, etc.\nJob Duties:\nInstructors will need to prepare lessons in the Blackboard LMS using OER content where possible.\n\nJob Duties:\n\nPlans and carries out instruction, instructional activities, and prepares learning materials (including OER) for online, hybrid, and in-person delivery utilizing the Blackboard LMS. (All courses have a Blackboard Shell and require use of the LMS shell.)\nProvides instruction to students in the discipline areas as mentioned above or other related topics.\nPrepares lesson plans (as needed), maintains records and reports on student attainment, and monitors attendance/activity and progress.\nUtilizes approved online course templates and syllabus format, maintains classroom order and discipline, completes course/program assessments, early alert reports/flags, course evals, grading reports, and other related activities/reporting.\nCompletes required college training including annual mandatory training related to college policies, online learning training, quality assurance training, LMS training, and other related training, as needed.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nTechnical program areas may allow at a minimum a combination of an associate’s degree with work experience and certifications, depending on the academic area. Business, CIT, and MIT require a master’s degree. The qualifications must be equal in comparison. The candidate should have experience with instructional technologies, including presentation software (such as Teams) and learning management systems (i.e., Blackboard, Canvas, etc.). Candidates should also demonstrate proficiency with technology, as well as written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.\nNOTE: In addition to submitting the online application form, please upload the following: cover letter, resume or curriculum vitae, unofficial transcripts for all college coursework, copies of current unexpired certifications/licensures, and three letters of recommendation.
