You’ll also play a key role in shaping how AI and automation are integrated into our products and engineering workflows.\nWhat You’ll Do\nPartner with Product, UX, and fellow Software Engineers to turn ideas into scalable, production-ready code\nDesign and develop internal (and potentially customer-facing) agents to automate processes as model capabilities evolve\nIntegrate multi-modal models into product pipeline to help better take care of our users, from analyzing video streams to generating automated, ML-driven reports\nDesign systems with scalability, performance, and storage in mind\nWork with QA to build repeatable, automated validation of user-facing features\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues across environments\nEnsure stability and performance of production systems with minimal user impact\nEstimate effort for new projects (in tokens)\nFollow best practices across coding standards and the full software development lifecycle\nWhat We’re Looking For\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)\nStrong experience with Java backend development\nExperience building React web and/or mobile applications\nComfortable working in AI-assisted development environments (e.g., Cursor, Claude, MCPs, feedback loops)\nAbility to write clean, readable code independently (without AI assistance)\nSolid understanding of system architecture and design\nExperience with web services (REST and/or WebSockets)\nExperience with data storage systems:\nSQL\nKey-value stores\nDocument databases\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP)\nProficiency with Git version control\nHow You Work\nComfortable collaborating within a team (human and AI-assisted environments)\nProactive, self-driven, and able to take ownership of work\nStrong problem-solving skills with ability to navigate complex challenges\nCurious and continuously learning new technologies\nAble to manage multiple priorities effectively\nSeek guidance from others when needed\nKey Traits for Success\nCustomer-focused mindset\nStrong sense of ownership and accountability\nBias for action and results\nHigh integrity and professionalism\nCollaborative and effective in team environments\nAdaptable and comfortable with change\nOngoing commitment to learning and technical growth\nLos Angeles Applicants: Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.\nPhiladelphia Applicants: Background checks will be conducted during the employment process.
